We have had a wonderful time in Owasso. The weather stayed nice for the whole time. (there were a few thunder storms but they were at night while we slept. ) Grandma took half a day and we tried to go to a local park but it was closed for the month for repairs. So we then went window shopping, the kids were great. (they slept till about 20minutes left of Target shopping) The kids loved playing in the back yard with the dogs and even some kids from next door.

Mattox had a great time telling Boomer what to do and reading Grandpas home improvement books. He would cry every time we had to come inside from playing. He loved having Arianna push him around in his truck or putting rocks in the grass and then back in the flower bed. Every time we would first go out he would run to the back fence and look for "Annie" the dog who lives behind Grandmas house.

Arianna had a great time. She got a flower from the girls next door and just wanted to show everyone. She would sit in front of the fish tank with Boomer and loved cuddling with Coie. She even took some morning walks with Coie or Grandma and the dogs.

The rock horse and bikes were also a big hit for the kids.

Hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa, eating cereal for the first time, and sleeping in the doll cradle were some of Natalie's highlights. She would fall asleep when we went out side so Hanging on the back porch and swing were fun too.

The trip back was interesting for sure. Mattox woke up with a high fever from him molars coming in and the van had a little hiccup, but nothing a little Grandma touch could not fix. We were making great time and the kids were doing great, then it happened. Coie was talking to me and in mid sentence I cut her off. I just saw something red fly across the road. It was flipping the embankment. As we got closer we realized it was a Trail Blazer and was full of luggage. We were thinking family kids; we got to help. We pulled over and ran to help. It was a lady going to a scrap booking thing, she was alone. She looked ok, some scraps but very lucky. The ground was so soft from the rain it was like a sponge and gave as the Trail Blazer flipped. We stayed with her till help arrived and our information was taken. We now knew why the van held us up for 30 minutes this morning. If if we would have been on time leaving we would not have been there to help this lady. The rest of the trip ran smooth, the van ran good and the kids were good. (well Mattox was as good as he could be with his fever) We still made good time even with the stop to help.
I am glad we got to go and that we had Coie with us. It is sort of nice to be home, though a little quite and colder. Thank you for all the prayers for the van and our safety, I am appreciative for all of you.

Thanks for the updates! Glad that you and the kids enjoyed your time away. I have to say...gotta watch out for those Trailblazers. Something about them?!
